I have now introduced myself in yet another venue. The deviantART community. I hope this over time will make my, mainly photographic, art available to more people than is the case when my only distribution channel is this website and my own mouth my only advertisement.

I have acquired a new computer, an older PowerMac G4 with significantly more RAM than my current web-server, otherwise it sports similar performance at lower noise cost than the Sun Ultra-10 that serves Gandoon at the moment. Since my server is residing quite close to my sleeping quarters this obviously means that I once again seriously consider a hardware replacement. This further means that at some point during the summer Gandoon will go offline for a brief period of time.
